Contemporary Albums

As previously noted, the following albums were released during the lifetime of King Crimson up to 1974. This list also includes the sole album by Giles, Giles & Fripp (as 2/3 of them formed 1/2 of the original band - not including Peter Sinfield), and the “Red” album, which was completed BEFORE, but released AFTER the band folded. A line of thought exists that “USA” should be included in this category, as it is musically contemporary with its immediate predecessors. This is true, but it was released some 7 months after the band imploded, therefore I’m classifying it as a Retrospective release.
